Hello! My name is Sasha and I am looking to teach English in Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. I can conduct classes focusing on improving writing/ essay skills, completing reading comprehensions and grammar exercises, teaching phonics and working on pronunciation. I am also able to help with the completion of school assignments. My experience consists of teaching younger students (aged seven) phonics, grammar, and improving pronunciation, as well as assisting high-school and university students with their essay assignments. I studied IGCSEs and IA Levels at an international school in Spain and received A*'s for my English Literature and English Language CIE exams. For my IELTS I received 8.5. A little bit about me: I am an international (full-time) student at HKU double-majoring in Journalism and Marketing. I am originally from Russia, however, grew up in Spain and studied in a fully English speaking school.

I have completed a 120-hour TEFL in-class program from Chiang Mai University (Thailand) where I graduated as a TEFL teacher. About me: During the CMU TEFL course, I studied and had roles in three different local school visits at various age levels. I gained experience in creating lesson plans, managing classrooms, providing general teaching input, developing instructional lesson plans for students of different ages, organizing educational activities, incorporating fun elements, participating in role plays, and leading various games. Hello, my name is Amrin. Currently, I teach phonics, reading and oral communication to students aged 3-12 at a well-known learning center in HK. I am a post graduate from HKU in Medical Science and an ex-flight attendant with Cathay Pacific Airways. While working with Cathay Pacific Airways, I had the privilege of attending workshops designed for trainers where I became aquatinted with essential training skills. I also conducted mock interviews for secondary school students. The purpose of this was to train them on using concise and effective language during formal interviews. I have also been a student tutor at The University of Hong Kong, facilitating group discussions and conducting one-on-one classes for participants from varied educational backgrounds that included doctors and PhD students. I truly enjoying training and am happy to work with children and adults. Teaching one-on-one helps me tailor it to the students needs. I believe a minimum of two consecutive classes is most useful so we can gauge the areas of focus needed in the first, build a relationship and work on them from the second. I also see huge benefits in group training as I encourage every participant to express their views and nurture their confidence in doing so.
