My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions, as well as being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect, wherein the student is encouraged to think independently and establish new connections for themselves.

My name is Mitah and I am based in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. I am a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology graduate from the University of Venda. Hello my angels! My name is Shamiso Zvandasara and I am currently in my first year of university at the University of Cape Town. I am studying Politics but have a love for English. Studying English and the analysis that goes into it allowed me to apply those skills into all my other subjects. I received an A in my O level examinations for English and would love to teach those in Form 4 and below. I believe the equivalent of that would be grade 10. English can be frustrating sometimes when you have to write entire essays about the deeper meaning of things that are not easy to see but once you learn the basics, it can be a breeze.
