I hold a teaching certificate, a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Certificate in Jolly Phonics. I am an experienced English tutor, with 2 years of tutoring under my belt. Not only do I have a Bachelors of Social Sciences from UCT, majoring in History and English, but a lifelong passion for both subjects as well as Mathematics. Although some students find difficulty or lack of interest in these subjects, I’ve learned to use creative teaching methods that are engaging and fun for the students to keep them interested and engaged while learning. Colourful and easy to read notes are included for students to look over on their own time if they need to.
