My name is Dr. James, and I have worked as a college professor and, more recently, as a freelance writer, editor, and tutor. I was born in Jersey City, grew up in Bergen County, and moved to Philadelphia where I attended the University of Pennsylvania (earning a B.A. in Philosophy) and Temple University, where I received an M.F.A. in Screenwriting. Subsequently, I moved to New York City where I lived for 16 years and earned my Ph.D. in American Studies from NYU. As an American Studies Ph.D., I have over twenty years of college/university teaching experience in subjects ranging from English Composition, Business Writing, American and World History, and Literature. I am a published scholarly writer and freelance writer. I am also a passionate creative writer, engaged in writing short and long fiction as well as poetry. Furthermore, I work as a freelance editor and writer, possessing expert skills in grammar, punctuation, and proofreading. For the last 10 years, I have tutored and mentored students in History. I also teach English and Philosophy to small groups of advanced students.

Hello! I'm Angelina and I'm 18 years old. I'm open to teaching children English as well as IGCSE and IB students. The IGCSE subjects I teach include Mathematics, Business Studies, English (coursework), History, and Drama (written exam skills), Biology, and Chemistry. Additionally, I can also teach IB Chemistry and Biology (providing notes for students to keep), as well as English. In terms of my qualifications, I have achieved 7 A*s and 3 9s in my IGCSE grades, and I am predicted to score 40+ for the IB.

I am a British teacher in Bangkok, currently teaching at the primary level but looking to broaden my teaching portfolio by teaching History at any level, but preferably Secondary. I have studied History at GCSE and A-Level in the UK, and I have also achieved a BA in Politics and History at the university level. I have a strong understanding of the syllabus and a general interest in the subject, such as reading about various periods of history in my spare time. I am located in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok and would prefer to teach online, but I am willing to travel to students' houses if necessary. My father is Canadian, and my mother is Dutch, so I am also able to teach in Dutch. In addition to being a teacher, I have also done business.
