Experienced TOK Teacher, Examiner, and Full-scoring IBDP graduate (45/45)
I am currently teaching Mathematics and Theory of Knowledge at an IB school in Hong Kong. I am an IBDP graduate myself, having attained a full score of 45/45 , and an examiner for Edexcel GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics. Additionally, I hold a PGCE from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics with first-class honours from HKUST. During my study, I had the privilege to study abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, The London School of Economics and Political Science, and Fudan University.
I hold a teaching philosophy where active engagement, concept-based inquiry, and student dialogue form the learning process. Ultimately, I hope for all my students to become internationally-minded lifelong learners and independent thinkers who are able to make sense of and positively impact the world around them.
Beyond the classroom, I aim to contribute to the educational community by collaborating with international researchers. I have been cited in various fields, including education, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and gamification.
