I am passionate about helping learners with maths. I make classes fun and enjoyable. I am patient, and I can explain maths in different ways until the learner understands. I live in Cape Town, specifically in the Durbanville area in South Africa. I have experience in teaching and tutoring, and I also have a background in psychology. I worked at a small school for kids with learning disabilities. I tutored the CAPS curriculum (the current standard curriculum) to a mixed class of children ranging from grade 3 to 7. In addition, I have been tutoring privately for the past 2 years. I hold an Honours degree in Psychology, and I am currently registered as a counsellor. Due to this background in psychology, I have extensive knowledge regarding learning styles and learning problems/disorders. I am able to adapt myself to the learning style of the learner.
