I am an elementary teacher with fourteen years of classroom experience. I have New York State elementary and literacy certifications. My professional experience has allowed me to work with a diverse population of students. In addition, I have helped students of all ability levels in math, reading, writing, science and social studies throughout my years as a classroom teacher. My goal as a teacher is to not only teach the student subject matter, but to also help build confidence as a learner.

I am Joellen Brennan. I am a certified mathematics teacher. I have been teaching 6th -12th grade mathematics for 8 years. I am also certified by the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence. In addition, I am certified pre-kindergarten through the 3rd grade and am experienced teaching at these levels also. I have two Bachelor of Sicence degress in Child Development and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and Counseling. I am a Highly Qualified Teacher per No Child Left Behind.

I received my BA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in both Mathematics and Economics. I received my MS in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate at George Washington University in Engineering Management.

I can you teach Math, Physics and English. I live in Whitby Ontario, and have tutored students for a number of years in a number of subjects. I’ve attended university for 16 years and have several degrees. In my last year of high school I won the Governor Generals Award for Acedemic Achievement for having the highest marks.
