Hi! I’m a physics enthusiast currently completing the final semester of my MSc in Theoretical Physics at Utrecht University. My research focuses on galaxy–galaxy gravitational lensing in collaboration with the DESC and LSST-Rubin teams, and I’m preparing to continue to a PhD in astrophysics, where I’ll also take on teaching assistant duties. I teach them how to answer exam questions, what to include in the question, and how to approach the exam. I also try to help my students overcome any anxiety they may feel before the exam and give them coping strategies to help with the nerves during exam time. I have found during my time as a tutor, the main issue is confidence, once the student's confidence increases, their attitude toward the subject improves, their quality of work improves and as a result they achieve above and beyond what they and their teachers thought they were capable of.
