Online Math Teacher in Alexandria | Simplified Explanation and Strong Results
In addition to my teaching experience, I have a strong background in information technology, which distinguishes my teaching style. I rely on logical thinking and systematic problem-solving. I believe that every student can excel in mathematics if it is taught in a way that suits them, so I am committed to providing personalized instruction tailored to each student's level and needs.
I am a math tutor based in Busan. I mainly teach elementary, middle school, and high school math, and I can also teach basic college-level mathematics. I have been good at math since I was young. When I was in 5th grade, I won 2nd place among all students in my grade in a Busan-wide math competition. In university, I also understood math concepts faster and more deeply than other students. With this strength, I have been working as a private math tutor in the Korean private education market for 5 years.
My teaching is not just about solving many problems. I am familiar with Korean test preparation and helping students improve their grades, but what I value more is true understanding. I want students to think for themselves and to learn the principles and structure of mathematics. I believe curiosity is very important in studying math, so I welcome students who ask lots of questions. I consider it very positive when students ask questions, and instead of giving them the answer right away, I try to guide them to think on their own. I believe that students need to go through the process of thinking for themselves in order to understand math deeply.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I pursue both realistic goals such as improving grades and a deep understanding of mathematics. I do not want my students to become machines that only solve problems; instead, I want them to understand why a solution works and to find interest in math itself. Korean is my native language, and I am capable of basic communication in English. My grammar or expressions may not always be perfect, but I can explain basic ideas and communicate with students, and I have experience teaching math in English as well. Since math is based on concepts and logic, I can clearly explain key points even in English. I especially welcome students who are curious and not afraid to ask questions.
