Hi! I am Ashir. I will be teaching Mathematics as well. Again, my goal is to help you pass the filter called A level or O level. We will do whatever it takes to pass this filter. I passed it myself with flying colors and have helped 15 people do the same before. We will analyze past papers and focus only on what is necessary. So, without wasting time, let's get started.

I am a newly qualified teacher with a strong background in physics, astrophysics, and mathematics. With several years of tutoring experience, I am committed to helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals in a supportive, engaging environment. My approach is interactive and tailored to each student, breaking down challenging concepts into clear steps to make learning accessible and enjoyable. Based in Kimberley, I am skilled at using technology and practical examples to connect abstract concepts to real-world applications, making maths and science relevant and exciting. I am passionate about fostering curiosity and empowering students with strategies that set them up for long-term success. Whether it’s exam preparation or mastering difficult topics, I am here to help every learner reach their potential.

I have years of experience in teaching Mathematics (basic and critical maths) and Mandarin Language from Primary to Secondary level for both local and international students. Firstly, I will identify the student's strengths and weaknesses. Secondly, I will create a customized program and worksheets according to his/her school syllabus. Boosting the student's understanding and proficiency by building a solid foundation is the first key to excel. My goal is to deliver good knowledge and bring out the best in students within a short period of time. You can rest assured that classes are conducted on time and each class is well spent.

With my experience in rigorous training, I am an Examiner for a major board and relish the challenges of marking. This perspective is invaluable when preparing my students. I thoroughly enjoy assisting students in overcoming difficulties in their subjects. My goal is to identify and address any problems in their understanding to provide them with a stronger grasp of the topic at hand. Throughout my career, I have helped a wide range of students, from six-year-olds to mature students, with their after-school class placements. I offer support for BTEC, IGCSE, professional skills tests, IB, Pre-U, STEP and PAT tests required by Oxbridge. I also provide assistance to Looked After Children (LAC), those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL), and those who are home-schooled or have had to change schools. These students often face significant challenges in catching up with their studies.

I have been an educator for over 30 years in the UK, Oman, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and now Thailand. I am fascinated by mathematics and education, and I spend a lot of my free time in those areas. I have had the opportunity to work with mathematics in various contexts such as IB, A level, IGCSE, AP, and SAT, successfully tutoring students of all levels from young learners to university acceptance. Additionally, I have authored textbooks for Oxford University Press and Haese Mathematics, and I am employed by IB as a senior examiner.

I have been teaching as a math teacher in top-tier local schools for the past 10 years. Currently, I am working as a substitute teacher in an international school. I have helped students prepare for UK boarding school exams and have tutored students studying the IB program as well. My work history demonstrates that I work extremely well with students who struggle to learn the subject, and I am patient in finding different ways to explain math concepts to them.
