I am Lukas Lam, currently studying Statistics at UCLA as a junior year. I have been tutoring my cousin since grade 2. I used to be a part-time tutor in a small-scaled tutoring center for a year. I am pretty experienced in teaching grade 1-6 students. I also helped an associate-degree student preparing for his math finals and bumped his grades from failing to B range within 1 month. I just wish that what I know now is what I knew at high school! It would have made mathematics so much more easier. That thought pops in my head a lot and so does this thought... Sometimes I imagine that mathematics is like music. But instead of creating a piece to entertain or portray a feeling it's like using notes to solve complex problems that help the world run full steam ahead. So mathematics can be very creative and much like music! Due to my experience of attending both local and international schools, I can provide useful insights on how to achieve better improvements in a short amount of time. I have also been a voluntary teacher at Jockey Club Events and am a basketball coach for my school.
