Hello, all. Throughout my professional life, I have been working in educational material consultation for tutoring purposes. Although I am not a tutor myself, I have seen many well-designed products and teaching methods that utilize them effectively. In both the materials and the mathematics being taught, I have always observed the presence of skilled teachers who enjoy their work. However, there have been instances where I have come across poorly designed materials and unhappy students. This background has motivated me to learn more about the teaching and learning process. I have spent a considerable amount of time conversing with teachers and trying to understand their experiences firsthand. Currently, I am involved in the field of educational robotics. My aim is to assist teachers in implementing this concept into their curricula as a motivational tool for learning other subjects and to stimulate multiple intelligence.

Trying my best to understand the weak point of my students and have fun in learning. I have approximately 200 students in my different classes. Students are relax in my class and also serious in learning. I also try to use videos and out of the syllabus realted stuff to motivate the students.

Hello, my name is Matthew! I am an undergraduate student majoring in computer science with a passion for teaching students, which originally stems from all the help I've given my classmates through different mathematics courses. I have achieved 90%+ in all recent math courses I've taken throughout high school, as well as my first year attending university. I will point you in the right direction when learning various math concepts, while also offering a fun and interactive lesson that won't bore you to death.

I have the ability to effectively communicate with students and make them comfortable with the subject through my teaching methods. I ensure that learning is made fun for the student and does not become too burdensome at any point. I also ensure open and free communication with students through sufficient informal interaction, allowing them to express their doubts without any fear or hesitation. I cherish every moment of teaching, and it fills me with pride to see my students perform well. Moreover, I offer free tutoring for the first two months, after which students can decide whether they want to continue taking my classes based on their comfort and understanding. I am truly excited to meet some amazing students here!

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.

I am happy to offer online math tutorials for HKDSE F.4-F.6 students, as well as Year 1 university mathematics courses (especially Calculus). Currently, I am pursuing an MSc degree in Statistical Science at the University of Oxford, which limits me to online tutoring. I have graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a CGA of 4.072/4.3. In the 2017 HKDSE Examination, I achieved excellent results, scoring 35/35 for the best 5 subjects, including 5** for both Mathematics (Core Part) and Mathematics (Extended Part, M2).

I believe that the only way to understand math is to understand its cogs, which is why when teaching I will also focus on those cogs. I will emphasize the basics of every topic and ensure you comprehend them fully. I have successfully completed Higher Level Math AA in IB, one of the most intense math courses in the world, and will help you with everything that can be covered in a high school math curriculum. My credentials: 7/7 in Higher level Math AA in IB 2 years teaching children 11-13 4 years of tutoring my classmates 800 in SAT Math section I now study Economics in an honors program in the Hague, if you are interested in Economics, we can have a small chat.
