I am Maths and Finance Graduate; and a prospective Maths Postgraduate in a Russell Group University. I look forward to teaching pupils maths concepts to exceed their respective potential. I utilise pupil-oriented tutoring methods, whether it be tackling problems together, or providing homework in line with their learning style. On the very first two to three lessons, I aim to assess the requirements of the student and determine the most efficient approach. In addition, tracking their progress against specific benchmarks enables me to turn their weaknesses into strengths. I believe I can motivate a student to embrace maths into their lifestyle by giving them an insight into its applications in real life. In fact, my teaching style's element of foremost importance is to help the student enjoy Maths.

I am Charu Mesvani and am readily available to provide Math tutoring to lower elementary level. My background as an educator has been quite diverse and continues to evolve. I was born and brought up in Ethiopia( East Africa), obtained my bachelor degree from India and my master's degree from the U.S. I started my career as an elementary teacher in Ethiopia and taught English and Math. Then later I built my career in the International school system. I taught early years and lower elementary in International schools in Ethiopia, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. I did provide one to one support to special needs students. My experience teaching in early years has taught me to be flexible, patient and creative with my teaching styles. I always believe in giving student agency and customizing my approach to accommodate student's learning style. My focus is always to help children to explore, think and come up with their wondering questions and then support and extend students' thinking through structured conversation. My hobbies are practicing mindfulness, cooking, art and dancing . I love to incorporate this in my teaching to enhance students' gross motor skills.
