As I was once a grade A1 Mathematics student, I mainly teach Elementary Mathematics as it is my passion, and, it was and still is my favourite subject of all time. I have a thorough understanding of all the Elementary Mathematics concepts and I have vast experience in dealing with any types of questions. I am located in Punggol. What separates me from others is rather than being a strict and serious tutor, I motivate my students by engaging with them and immersing them into a deeper understanding of the concepts. I am also extremely friendly and easy to talk to!

What benefits do you get from my teaching classes? 1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit, and an additional 10 minutes is no problem. I always believe that longer sessions with small pauses are better for you to grasp the topic. 2) I can teach in groups as well as individually, whichever option suits you best. If you need to catch up with what is going on in school during a break and don't want to fall behind, we can have back-to-back classes in a short amount of time, if that works for you. Teaching has been a long-time passion of mine. I have already taught some candidates (see testimonials below), and during my college days, I held classes with several groups of students. After moving to University, I also delivered sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world. Additionally, I was in charge of a specific experiment for Bachelor's and Master's students for a year.

I am a chemistry major at Ryerson going into my fourth year. I have 4 years of experience teaching chemistry and math to students of all ages up to grade 12. I am located near Victoria Park and Lawrence, but I am also downtown a good portion of the time so I am able to commute to most locations near a subway station. I am a Mathematics MSc student at Stellenbosch University. I have a major in Biochemistry at an undergraduate level. I strive to teach for understanding and to constantly build on foundations, as this is the way to ensure academic growth. I also focus on learning strategies because in this fast-paced world we live in, it is necessary to grasp and learn concepts quickly and to have strategies to do so.

My passion in life is knowledge and the sharing of it. The main subject that I tutor is Mathematics as I have found it to be one of the most difficult subjects to grasp, despite being a subject of logic and true beauty once one is able to understand it. My preferred teaching style is to follow the pace of the curriculum, unless the student wishes to learn concepts in advance for the benefit of having the knowledge ready before it is leant in class. I also occasionally give additional homework and spot tests (if needed) and will create my own mock-exams for additional maths practise. Mathematics is a truly beauiful subject and it has great meaning to me. With a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, I am experienced in topics regarding Mathematics and Physics. My degree also allows me to appreciate the practicality of these subjects. I attended an international school and obtained outstanding results in the IGCSE and IB exams (A*s and 7s in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry). I have a good understanding of the IGCSE and IB syllabus along with the way they are taught. I believe that good foundation in fundamentals is vital for future excellence.
