I have 4 years teaching Math and Science; mainly Physics, privately and in a tuition centre. I believe in enabling students to allow them to understand the concepts and theories, instead of remembering them. This can be done through various ways such as real life applications or explaining a concept using analogies. After understanding, practice is definitely required especially for subjects such as Math so I believe in independent work done to check for understanding and internalization. I make and provide smart notes for students as a summary and a checklist for concepts taught and internalized by them. This helps students who are struggling as they are able to focus on their misconceptions and effectively work on them. I believe that learning can be and should be an enjoyable and enriching experience for both tutor and tutee and I look forward to bettering myself together with my students. 続きを読む
