Hi, I'm Valerie, an energetic Year 11 student, and I am extremely dedicated to helping my students reach their fullest potential! Currently, I am studying IGCSE at an international school after transferring from a prestigious local girls' school. I speak fluent, native English and am also proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin, able to teach in both languages. As a member of the Senior English Debate Leadership Team at my school, I have coached juniors and other students in argumentative skills, critical thinking, and persuasive speaking. I have also won multiple awards in debate and speech competitions. Additionally, I am a part of the Editorial Board for the school magazine and have extensive experience in teaching creative and informative writing skills.
