I have been the head of Mathematics in schools in London (state and private), Hong Kong, and Dubai. I have been teaching math for 29 years at all levels, including MYP, iGCSE, A-level, and IB Diploma. Tutoring gives me the chance to share my vast experience to help students at all levels. I love teaching in the classroom, but tutoring gives me the chance to provide a personalized service that is tailored to the needs of individual students. When you are looking for a tutor for your child, please bear in mind that having a degree from a top university does not necessarily guarantee that we will be able to help your child improve in math. Experience in helping students successfully navigate exams at all levels is what counts. I am certain that I can help your child grow in confidence and achieve significantly better results.

My lessons are offered online. I use technology, including tried and tested learning platforms, as well as a simple iPad and pencil to teach as though I were in a classroom, with the benefit that the student doesn't need to travel from their home. Maths should be fun! I have seen too many lessons that are not, and it is a shame. Students who are confident, where the challenge is at the right level, enjoy my lessons. My lessons are also varied. I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. I work quickly to diagnose the problem, then find simple ways to explain an easy method.
