Growing up in an international sphere, I am a native English speaker constantly curious about culture and history. As a former national competitor of speech in the US, I have coached speech for 3 years both abroad and in Hong Kong. A graduate of Columbia University, I have been based in Hong Kong for the past three years. I am passionate about building confidence and empowering young people to be curious and love learning.

My teaching is based on student-centred, experiential learning methodologies, which are built upon four stages of learning: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation.

These stages will involve play-based activities, whether it's role play or engaging props, in order to stimulate imagination. Through experiential learning, I encourage creativity and empower students to learn from their mistakes and correct themselves. 続きを読む
