I am an AP and IB DP Chemistry teacher at an International School. I have a PhD in Materials Science from the University of London. After graduating, I conducted research at the Max Planck Institute in Germany and with INSTM, the National Italian Material Research Institute. During my research assignments, I also trained and mentored undergraduate students. Teaching is my passion, which is why I have been a full-time teacher since 2014.

I have experience teaching IGCSE, A-Level (CIE, OCR, AQA), AP Chemistry, MYP, and IBDP Chemistry to second language learners. I incorporate language objectives into my subject teaching and tailor my lessons to meet the learning needs and requirements of my students.

Regarding my sessions, I carefully plan lessons based on an assessment of the student's learning objectives and specific needs. I prefer to avoid a lecture-style approach and instead engage the student with question and answer sessions, short tasks, and examples to help them understand and learn. For IB, A-Level, and AP students, practising past exam questions can be extremely beneficial.
