あなたへの質問

Q: What teaching methods do you use to help students learn Math concepts and solve problems?

1. Problem solving through guided questions 2. Step-by-step problem solving 3. Repitition 4. Focus on concepts

Q: Do you have experience with online teaching platforms or virtual tutoring, and what is your preferred method of communication with students?

1. Zoom 2. Google Meet 3. Teams

Q: What Math topics or concepts are you particularly skilled in teaching, and how do you keep up to date with changes in the curriculum?

1. Geometry 2. Algebra 3. Trigenometry 4. Analytical Geometry I have tutored since 2015, which means I have been involved in the changing of carriculum and adapt my work each year as it changes.

Q: How do you communicate with parents about their child's progress and any challenges they may be facing in learning Math?

I keep in regular communication with issues their children may be facing in our lessons and how they should motivate their kids to also learn and improve on their own at home.

Q: Do you provide any additional resources or materials to supplement your lessons, such as practice exercises or online tutorials?

I supply learners with additional practice questions to ensure that they receive efficient practice to master their subjects. I also provide them with helpful online resources.

Q: What is your approach to homework assignments, and how do you ensure students understand the concepts covered in class?

I encourange learners to try homework assignments on their own and only come to me with concepts they are unable to figure out on their own, which fosters independence and problem solving.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure that your teaching approach is compatible with the student's learning style?

I start by asking the student about their previous experiences with maths, subjects they find difficult or enjoyable, and how they prefer to learn. I may give a few basic problems to assess their current level and how they approach problem-solving. This helps identify areas of strength and difficulty. I regularly check in with the student by asking questions like: “Did that explanation make sense?” “Would you prefer to try this another way?” This allows me to make real-time adjustments and continually align my teaching with their preferred learning style.

Q: Do you have experience working with students with learning disabilities or special needs, and how do you adapt your teaching methods to accommodate their needs?

My background includes working as a medical/school facilitator for a quadriplegic female on assited ventilation. I spent four years as her facilitator, transport her to school and tending to both her educational and medical needs in the schooling environment.
