My name is Hlangano T from Limpopo, currently based in Nelspruit (Mbombela, South Africa) due to studies. I am finishing my Honours in Geography in November 2024. I am very enthusiastic about geography, which is why I have been involved in tutoring first, second, and third-year geography students at my university.

I have not limited myself to geography; I have also had the opportunity to tutor fire ecology and soil science students on how to apply remote sensing to map out burned areas and soil types in different study areas. Additionally, I have tutored environmental science students on environmental laws, specifically the NEMA act, and covered topics such as climate change, biodiversity, global warming, and global energy flow for both first and third-year students.

Great teachers are the ones who build trust with their students. There is no wrong answer during a tutorial when a student tries to engage with the tutor. I keep my classes very interactive by allowing students to voice their understanding of the topic or subject at hand. I'm very friendly with the students, and that's one of the key aspects that makes my classes interactive.
