English teacher in Bangkok with nearly 8 years of experience teaching at the university level. Also, several years of experience tutoring. With a math and science background, I can also tutor those subjects in English for students attending international schools. I have significant experience, both at the university and in a corporate environment, teaching business English. I also bring a sense of creativity to the classroom/sessions in order to keep the students engaged. For example, I may use music to help students maintain their interest and drive in learning the language.

Preference is to teach students who have a basic understanding of English already (but do NOT need to be advanced). My forte is in being able to explain concepts so that the students will understand them, expanding their English skills; this works best if the students can understand the explanation. I am a university graduate from the United States with several years of experience in tutoring back in The States. I moved to Thailand eight years ago and have been a university teacher the entire time, but have also been involved in several other activities, including teaching at high school, tutoring, conducting business English classes for a major international corporation, teaching English classes for TOEIC preparation, and assisting at English camps and English competitions.

This involves listening to the student, incorporating feedback, and adjusting the lesson plans appropriately to meet the student's needs.
