I studied international relations (BA) at City College of New York (CUNY) studying World Bank/International Monetary Fund environmental policy. MA degree in sociology from Humboldt State University exploring how climate change affects prisons. I trained and worked as a television journalist at Globalvision Inc., New York City. I design lessons based on the interests and needs of each student. If a student likes Metallica or Shakira, we start by analyzing the lyrics and building a vocabulary base. We analyze tv shows, news articles, and social media, checking for grammatical errors. When students are musically inclined we write and sing songs. For business learners, we analyze documents and relevant materials. I encourage students to think in English as much as possible while constantly adding to their vocabulary books. 続きを読む
