Yes! I provide homework assignments and practice exercises to reinforce what’s learned in class. These assignments are customized based on the learner’s level and goals.

Q: How do you help students with pronunciation and accent?

Helping students with pronunciation and accent is a key part of learning French. Differentiating sounds that are tricky for non-native speakers (e.g., ou vs. u, é vs. è). Shadowing Technique – Repeating after native speakers in real-time (using InnerFrench, TV5Monde, or audiobooks). Role-playing & Conversation Practice – Simulating real-life conversations in a natural French accent.

Q: How do you teach French grammar and vocabulary?

I teach French grammar and vocabulary through a structured yet immersive approach that blends explanation, practice, and real-life application. For grammar, I break down concepts into simple, digestible parts, using visual aids, charts, and comparisons to English when helpful. Instead of overwhelming students with rules, I introduce them in context, using dialogues, short texts, and examples that show how grammar functions naturally in speech and writing.

Q: Can you adapt your teaching style for different learning styles?

Yes! I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning preferences to make French learning engaging and effective. For visual learners, I use images, infographics, color-coded grammar charts, and mind maps to help them associate words and structures with visuals. Flashcards, subtitles in videos, and interactive digital tools like Quizlet also enhance their retention. Auditory learners benefit from listening to French podcasts, repeating after native speakers (shadowing technique), and practicing pronunciation with rhythm and intonation exercises

I do, however it depends on where the student is located. I conduct French exchange programs.
