Hello!

As an experienced Secondary English teacher from London, I am looking to privately tutor students who wish to excel in the subject or improve their language skills generally. I have a MA from The University of Edinburgh in English Language and Literature and a PGCE Secondary English teaching degree from UCL, but my passion for Linguistics and Languages extends beyond English, so I am open to teaching Spanish too. I also speak conversational Cantonese and Mandarin.

I use the Communicative Approach to connect with my students. By focusing on meaningful connections, I have found that students are more likely to memorize and correctly interpret information. The tasks and activities are based on the students' current school or university curriculums.
