I am currently a second-year Fine Arts student at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL.

I was an IB student at Hwa Chong, where I did not take any art subjects, but I had been studying fine arts in my own time and received offers from both Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts. I stand out through my non-art backgrounds, where I did not receive strong influence from the more technically centered practice in A-level equivalent art subjects, but rather have a strong understanding of conceptual practice in the arts, which is much more prioritized in university-level portfolio applications.

I have conducted extensive research on what is required in portfolios and what universities look for in applications. I do not provide advice on technical aspects in your practice, only on the conceptual and methodological approaches in your artworks.

I am very friendly and easygoing, as I am still a student :) But, of course, we will focus where it is needed. 続きを読む

In our one-on-one sessions, I will tailor my advice and suggestions to fit your practice. It will be a relaxed session. Any questions about my experiences at UAL, whether my own or those of my peers, are more than welcome. It is best to understand the course you are looking for, as there are many variations in fine art courses and universities.

We will either discuss and work on your established artwork and practice or experiment with new approaches to improve the conceptual aspects of your art practice. 続きを読む
