I am Adrian, an undergraduate psychology student at University College London (UCL), in the year of 2018. After my graduation from UCL, I pursued a clinical psychology doctorate degree at Fuller University in Los Angeles, USA. However, I dropped out in mid-2019 to become an education consultant at top Hong Kong institutions, including Capstone Education Prep and Assurance Education. Currently based in Hong Kong, I run my own education consulting company called Life-solvers.
With over 5 years of experience as a private tutor, I have helped students from various backgrounds excel in IB Psychology, Economics, Chinese, TOK/EE.
As an education consultant, in addition to private tutoring, I have mentored secondary school students in gaining admission to top universities such as those in the UK (including Oxbridge) and US (including Ivy League). Consequently, I have developed and conducted classes on non-academic areas such as crafting university personal statements, interview preparation, public speaking, presentation skills, and UCAS/Common App consultations.
My passion lies not only in helping students succeed in their exams, but also in witnessing their growth and development in terms of communication and presentation skills.
I strongly advocate for a teaching approach that goes beyond spoon feeding students with monotonous textbook theories. Instead, I intentionally incorporate numerous real-life case scenarios into my lessons to enhance students' understanding of textbook material and grasp theoretical concepts.
Students adore my enjoyable teaching style, which combines theory with real-life applications, as well as my humour and sociable nature.
With my academic qualifications and passion for teaching, I am confident in bringing academic success to you. 続きを読む

A typical one-hour session with me looks like this: the first 15-20 minutes will be spent on revision and going through key theoretical concepts. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to real-life applications of these concepts. 続きを読む
