I have teaching experience in the first - second, and third-grade levels. I believe my teaching experience and passion for community engagement make me an ideal tutor.

I have worked in the UAE for 13 years and although it was a challenge to teach the English language to these children, it was the most exciting and memorable time of my life. I not only gave them knowledge but I have learnt so much from them and this is why I am so passionate about being a teacher.

I have lots of experience incorporating community service projects into my classrooms. For example, as a grade teacher, I led a unit for first-graders on plant life, and we planted plants and trees at our school community garden. I have many years of teaching experience and I have found that incorporating calm background music is the ideal tool to promote a sensory and passive atmosphere in the classroom.

I also believe in visual tools and posters which enhances a classroom and makes it easier for the child to know what they will be learning, this promotes an excitement within the child as they can relate to the subject matter in a more positive and productive manner. 続きを読む
