Hi guys my name is Karyl I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree. While doing my degree I knew I wanted to get into the health field, therefore I did a variety of health courses specifically biology, microbiology and anatomy and physiology which I enjoyed immensely and was succesful in. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Ecology and Environmental Science with 2 years teaching experience in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth Science. So, what credentials do I have? I am a thesis student, completing studies in Biomedical Science at Ryerson University, with a minor in psychology. For nearly two years, I have been working as a research assistant in cancer cell biology. I have won numerous awards for my research presentations and have been an invited speaker to events in the GTA. From as early as high school, I was involved in tutoring and acting as an assistant teacher for both music and science courses. I love learning, and enjoy courses involving cell biology and physiology, subjects of which I currently tutor as a group and private instructor at Ryerson University. I also tutor these subjects and run study sessions for the Ryerson Science Society. I am located in Toronto and offer online or in-person sessions.
