I'm Laura, and I teach Chinese, specifically Cantonese (both oral and written). I provide instruction to both adults and children. I am an experienced teacher, specializing in teaching non-Chinese students in schools. As a result, I use a variety of methods to effectively teach Chinese. I hold a Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. My location is in Kowloon, but I am also willing to travel to other districts, such as Hong Kong Island or New Territories (N.T.).

I am a tutor in Hong Kong combined with three of my friends and we are all professional tutors with experience and are highly qualified in our respective subjects.

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.

I love teaching Chinese to all my students and I strive to help them become proficient in speaking and writing the language.

I am a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese. I've been studying in an international school for more than 6 years, so my English is one of my first language.

Before working in the commercial field, I was a teacher and assistant at a tutorial center. I taught simple art and paper crafting to children continuously. In the past 4 years, I have been focusing on being a private tutor for over 12 English native speaking students, teaching Chinese subjects from K2 to junior secondary school students in Hong Kong.
