I am a South African European Native English Teacher with 4 years of private tutoring experience and 1 year of classroom teaching experience in South East Asia. I have a Bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology and I am currently studying for my Master's degree in child psychology. I teach English reading, writing, and conversational skills for students in grades P1-P6. Additionally, I have experience teaching Fine Arts from a beginner to intermediate level and offering Mindfulness Meditation sessions. I also provide counseling services for students of all ages, starting from nursery (assessment) through university level for any learning disabilities such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, as well as behavior modification for early years development (ages 5-8). I would like to mention and clarify my skills in working as a librarian in all of my previous experiences. Hello there, this is Ms. Janiver. I am a local Chinese fluent in native-level English and Cantonese in Hong Kong. I completed my secondary education locally and received my undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. I later completed my M.Phil degree at the University of Hong Kong. Teaching is one of the passions of my life, apart from going to the gym and playing the piano, harp, and cello. For over a decade since my retirement from the corporate world, where I was a department head in Qualitative Research (consumer insights and business consultancy), I have been teaching English to children and adults alike.
