My name is Julia. I am Russian/American. I have been in Thailand for 30 years. I am very knowledgeable with the culture and have taught in a few government and private Thai schools. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I attended DGS until 9th grade and then moved to Boston to attend a private prep school. During my high school years, I assisted teachers during after-school programs at a local elementary school. I also taught ESL English at the Chinatown community center. At Columbia University, I studied Art History and Psychology which allowed me to further hone my critical reading and writing skills. I continued to tutor elementary and middle school kids in English and other subjects during my Columbia career.
