Hey! My name is Elijah and i am Qualified in A level English Language, i am very comfortable teaching and assisting at KS2 & KS3 levels. I am very confident in teaching Basic English to those interested in learning the language (A1 -A2). I have a great understanding in the KS2 & 3 English language curriculum and sufficient knowledge and understanding of sub topics such as: KS3 - Spelling punctuation and Grammar. - Essay writing. I am currently a bachelor's student at Leiden University in The Hague, in the Netherlands. My expertise is in global politics, modern history, East Asian studies, and Chinese language. Being from the Netherlands, Dutch is my native language. However, I consider myself to actually be more fluent in English. I took the Cambridge English FCE and CAE exam some years ago, and have been attending university in English for the past years. I am an experienced English tutor in Hong Kong as well as the native English speaker. I have a great passion for teaching English literature as that is what I am studying in University at the moment. I am situated in Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island. I am willing to provide online tutoring as well as in person tuition for high school students studying IB, IGCSE or IB MYP. Not too long ago I was a student too, so I realise that many young children, particularly those studying in high school, have trouble with English literature. My own experiences in high school and University, so I have a very hands-on and personalised approach to teaching English literature. I am particularly good at teaching Shakespearean and 18th,19th, and 20th century English and American literature. I have a good foundation in teaching higher English literature as I am studying BA English literature in university in the UK.
