Online English tutor: I teach English, focusing on everyday conversation and business English. I assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, and other academic tasks while helping them improve their speaking and writing skills. As an online tutor, my aim is to supplement learning from other avenues, whether it be school, university, or a general desire to improve language proficiency. I believe the best way to do this is to know in advance what the student would like to cover and prepare relevant and engaging lessons accordingly. This approach has previously worked well on a weekly basis or simply for one-off sessions to assess or review English language skills. I can tutor for the full range of proficiency levels and have experience teaching students with no prior experience as well as those who wish to hone their fluency through conversation. My name is Ivan, and I am pleased to meet you. I have vast experience in education and previously worked in Language and State Schools in London before working at an International School in Thailand for 4 years. Since then, I have developed my career and currently work as a language consultant for a group of 4 IT companies in the center of Bangkok. In this role, I am responsible for improving the level of English for 100 adult staff. I plan and deliver the classes myself as part of the staff's working week, as high-level professional development for them. In my limited free time, I am happy to tutor higher-level students for professional purposes.

You won’t have to worry about getting lost when you travel to an English-speaking country, as you’ll easily be able to ask for directions, and taking guided tours, ordering food and chatting to the locals will no longer be a source of stress. I am a TESOL qualified teacher of English from New Zealand. I have been teaching English since 2018 and I hold a graduate diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from Waikato Institute of Technology, New Zealand. Originally from Russia, I now reside in New Zealand. I have been living here since 2013. I got married in New Zealand, we’ve got a beautiful little boy who is currently two years old. I love nature a lot, I prefer places untouched by humans, or built and run with environmental sustainability in mind. I believe it is very important to take care of nature and our planet. I love the outdoors. My life is all about expanding my self-awareness and self-development. And I achieve that through travelling, practising mindfulness and living a healthy lifestyle. Amongst my other interests are home organisation, wholefood vegetarian cooking and natural medicine. And most recently, I got passionate about natural parenting, gentle and respectful early childhood education and care. Have taken IELTS exams, both Academic and General.

I am from South Africa. I speak fluent English with a pinch of South African and British accent. I am a professional civil engineer for over 10 years and I have need coaching generations of young engineers English for the engineering examinations. I have a CELPIP score of 11 and IELTS score of 9 for speaking. I also speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin, which may come in handy to explain specific learning attributes during the English tutoring lessons.
