Online Listening Comprehension Tutors across the globe

I am studying English literature at UCL and thoroughly enjoying the course. In my experience, not many local students in Hong Kong are exposed to the fun of reading English literature so I want to spread my enthusiasm for the subject to the students I teach. I have first-hand experience of both A-Level and HKDSE systems. I studied texts under the HKDSE curriculum in Hong Kong up till Form 5 and studied in the UK for sixth form, where I achieved grades of A*A*A* in English Literature, History and Mathematics. I also got an A* for an optional Extended Project Qualification. Apart from helping students improve their English language skills for both verbal and written communication, it's important to learn English for an academic use. I write 4,000-word essays every two weeks for my degree at UCL, so I have more than enough experience of teaching essay writing. I can switch between British and American accents easily, so I can use either one depending on which accent my student wants to develop towards!

I believe an active brain and enthusiasm are what promote a good learning experience for students. Hence, I take pride in providing a fun-learning environment with interactive lesson plans. I tailor lesson plans in accordance with the class or the students' needs and can improvise the way I convey my teaching. With more than 90% positive feedback from my students from the previous Private university I worked for, I can guarantee that learning with me, there will never be a dull and boring moment.

I have a degree in English Language and Literature and have been a teacher in the UK for over 10 years. I started out teaching Art and Design alongside English before becoming a Food and Nutrition teacher.
