Hello Students, My name is Gurleen Kaur and I was born in India in 1995. After my school, I did majors in English Literature from Delhi University, India. I love my subject and gained experiences back home in teaching English from Grade 1 to 10 and gained similar experience teaching in Toronto as well. I love reading and writing. I did Diploma in Public Relations and currently doing Marketing Management. Even though I took some different subject but want to teach in my spare time as this makes me feel good. I did various public speeches and took part in various writing competition happened in my school when I realized that this is what I am good at and I want to continue this. I graduated from the university with a 2:2 degree in law. The nature of my degree has prepared me for a career in this role. My degree involved me critically analysing between two opposing views. My course required being involved in moot court trials which provided me with presentation and oratory skills. I believe this skill will be relevant in my role. In the last five years, I have mainly taken up casual and temporary work in healthcare. Currently, I am a Trainee Independent consultant in Genistar. I offer financial education training while introducing products and services within the Genistar product range. I am keen to learn, enthusiastic with a bubbly personality.
