I have been passionate about english since high school, so I have chosen to pursue a career in English education ever since. I am a PhD candidate in humanities at York University, and have taught English, social sciences, academic writing, public speaking, and drama for over twenty years to hundreds of students between the ages of 15-65. While working as a Writing Instructor for two years at York`s Writing Centre, I assisted individual students with interpreting assignments, organizing research notes, getting started at writing, proper documentation styles, and editing their own work. Under my tutelage, students have gone from earning D grades to earning A grades in humanities subjects.
