I am a math teacher, experienced in Algebra, Quadratics, Trig and Thereom Geometry. I am in Ottawa, but I have done tutoring online to other countries via Skype. I am passionate about Math, and have the ability to teach all levels of ability, allowing my students to understand concepts they previously struggled with.

I have taught Maths in various international schools to a wide range of students. I enjoy seeing students learn new skills and succeed in their exams after 10+ years. Many of my students have gone on to study Maths at a higher level, or used their qualification to support their employment or further studies. A few of the simple teaching techniques that I use include: 1. Teaching by using worked examples. 2. Creating colorful posters to summarize each section covered, which includes ALL formulas. 3. Administering mock tests at the end of each section. 4. Allowing students to complete 10-minute mini tests at the end of every lesson, focusing on the material learned during that particular lesson. 5. Going through past papers set by the Department of Education as a final revision before assessments.

My teaching experiences is more on Algebra. I love teaching and my goal is to teach mathematics in an easier and simpler way. I experienced teaching mathematics from elementary to senior high school and it makes me happy to guide and help students in learning the subject better.
