I am studying Mathematical Statistics at the University of Pretoria, and I have 2 years of experience tutoring high school learners in Pretoria East. My ideal student is someone who usually passes their tests but struggles to keep up with the pace of learning in class and would like to improve their results or earn a distinction. However, I have experience helping students who have previously failed, as well as those who are taking pure maths for the first time. The most important quality for a learner to have is the will to improve, even if they don't necessarily have all the tools to help them do so.
