I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics, and obtained a Master of Education specializing in Mathematics Education. I have been teaching math for almost 17 years now.

I love teaching! I encourage students to question everything and make sure they have a conceptual and fundamental understanding of what they are learning. I make sure students build an intuition to solve problems and give them the confidence to do so. I believe learning is fun and there is nothing to be afraid of. Based on the individual student, I cater my teaching style to best suit them. Students perform well on exams after my guidance but most importantly gain an appreciation for the subject. Rather than by memorizing, I believe better results can be attained by grappling with concepts and plenty of practice.
