I am a year 3 medical student studying at HKU and I am currently spending my enrichment year abroad to complete a Masters degree at the University of Liverpool. I completed my A-Level studies in Cardiff Sixth Form College, and prior to that I studied in Diocesan Girls’ Junior School and Diocesan Girls’ School. In AS Levels, I have obtained A grade in physics, chemistry, biology and maths, with an average ums of 95/100. My grades for my A-Level exams are 5A*s (including chinese). I have also completed my IELTS examination with an overall score of 8.5. Having had experiences of tutoring pre-school, primary and secondary school students, I understand that the essence of learning is understanding but not memorisation. I would be able to provide sufficient help and aid your child to strive for excellent results. Since I am located in the UK, classes will be conducted via zoom.

I achieved 5As in my A-level exams. I scored 8 on my first IELTS attempt through self-study and later 8.5 on my second attempt in Hong Kong. I can teach entirely in English or with supplementary instruction in Mandarin and English.

I'm a graduate of Chemical Engineering, and while I've spent many wonderful years as a full-time mom, I've always had a strong love for math and learning. I've decided to go back to work to support my family, and I feel truly passionate about helping children build confidence and curiosity in Math - especially during their foundational years. While this is my first time formally tutoring, I've spent years helping my own children with their schoolwork and understand the patience and creativity it takes to make math fun and understandable.
