My name is Lily and I am a final year student at the University of Manchester ( BA Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan). It is my passion to teach languages; I have previous experience teaching Spanish in both primary and secondary schools in the UK as well as teaching English as a Foreign Language to children and young people from the ages of 5 to 17 in 3 summer schools in Spain. I am happy to teach all levels of Spanish and Portuguese, from beginner to degree level. I am also available to tutor beginners Catalan, too. I have plenty of native experience having lived in a Spanish and Catalan speaking region of Spain, as well as having lived in Porto, northern Portugal. I strongly believe that in order to learn a language well, we need cultural as well as linguistic skills and, therefore, tailor each individual lesson to reflect this. Languages are my life's work and I have been lucky enough to study them and teach them at varying levels and in many different contexts.
