I have been a primary school teacher for nine years - and I love my job!
During my time as a teacher, I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the children in my classes.
I have been the coordinator of both Maths and Science and these are probably my favourite subjects.
I have tutored many children for their SATs, with great success.

I think it is important to start by getting to know what the child doesn’t like, that is normally the thing that they find most difficult.
I then will demonstrate a number of ways that they can answer questions and we will discuss which method they find the easiest to understand.
We then do lots of practise together, I will keep explaining and showing different methods until the child becomes confident.
I encourage children to keep a note of anything that they find difficult during the week. Read less
