I studied bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, master of science in Mechanical Engineering and then subsequently completed PGCE from University of Oxford. I am currently a maths teacher in a British secondary school. I am fully DBS/CRB cleared. Availability is on weekdays and weekends.
I taught students aged 11-18 in different schools and have a lot of experience in teaching one on one. Although Mechanics is my main subject I have chosen to teach maths over 4 years now. I taught in UK, Kuwait and Dubai covering different curricula such as GCSE, IGCSE and IB. I also taught students studying further maths at A-level. My strengths lie in developing mathematical understanding and translating English into maths. My experience lies for both higher level students and foundation students at IGCSE and at A level students.

Every student is different in their approach to studying and learning. Within the first lesson I try to establish the techniques and general approach which will work for the individual. Then begins the matter of quickly and effectively raising their performance in their chosen subject. I discuss with students prior to tutoring and study their previous maths work. I then conduct an assessment which involves a wide range of mathematical skills essential to pass GCSE. I will then design a plan. Read less
