I am a semi-retired mathematics professor who desires to continue working in the field. Teaching/tutoring on line or live is an exciting and challenging opportunity for me. My teaching style is learner-oriented, where my student is the center of my academic universe. My philosophy is that every student can learn anything as long as the student is interested in learning, and that the two of us take mutual responsibility for the learning process. My assignment is to find out the learning style of my student so I can design lessons appropriately for that learning style. I create a teaching and learning environment that fosters rich and productive learning. Read less
