I'm a passionate, qualified teacher, with over five years of experience teaching and tutoring Maths.

I studied Maths at the University of Manchester, where I obtained a 2:1, before completing my teacher training at Manchester Metropolitan University. I've taught in secondary schools in the UK as well as spending two years living in Nepal, where I taught A Level Maths and Economics.

My classes are tailored to the needs of my students but I always like to keep them engaging, varied and fun!

Often my classes focus on exam preparation and practice, but I can also prepare a complete session with examples, practice exercises and problem solving questions, coverings topics identified with the student.

Some students prefer to use the class to ask questions about things they have learned in class or to better understand their homework. It's up to you!

I work mostly with students studying for GCSE and A Level exams, but have also tutored younger students and those studying for other qualifications, such as the IB. Read less

My classes are tailored to the needs of my students but I always like to keep them engaging, varied and fun.

In particular, I make sure to keep classes interactive — this way students get the most out of the sessions.

Classes can focus on a particular topic, exam preparation, or covering areas the student feels less confident in.
