Hey there!

My name is Kayla Graham and I am from Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
I recently moved to Hamburg in the beginning of 2019 and have found myself as an English teacher! I love watching my students knowledge and confidence grow with every lesson. I have been working with children, teens, and adults.
In America, I studied Environmental Science(specifically Sustainable Agriculture). I also was an art teacher in for Kindergarten to 6th graders, and did weekend art classes with adults!
I love working with young children and incorporating art and fun games into my lessons. With teens, I love helping their vocabulary grow and helping them at the harder topics they may struggle with in school. As for adults, I really enjoy helping conversation flow and working with pronunciation and overall confidence.
My English classes are a judgement free zone.
Learning a language does not need to be uncomfortable and stressful, instead, it should be something exciting and new!
Living in Germany it has been very hard not speaking fluent German and I am still at a beginner level, but I think that has helped me grow as a teacher. It has forced me to try new things and I can really relate to my students.
I always love to know what exactly my student wants out of their sessions before they begin so I can fit each lesson to their needs and interests.
