I provided private tutoring for various students in grades 8 to 11 in English and Afrikaans. I consistently achieved great results and helped students understand how subjects are applicable in our lives and industries to engage their interest. Teaching is my passion, and I have endless patience when explaining subject matter. My methodology involves explaining the subject, providing examples, and allowing students to practice test questions until they can independently achieve a good grade on a test. To spark interest and provide context, I give real-world examples where mathematical or scientific concepts apply, such as in physics and engineering. Next, I explain the concept theoretically, followed by solving problems with the student. Finally, I allow the student to solve problems on their own, stepping in to help and explain when they get stuck. I repeat this process until the student can solve problems independently and explain the concepts effectively. Read less
