I prefer letting the student teach me what they know about the topic so that I can identify gaps in their knowledge while they reinforce their understanding of the current topic. This approach requires them to formulate and list the steps clearly. I would also highlight the important aspects of a topic so the student can focus on practicing it more. Read less
