I believe a student achieves mastery when they are able to articulate the questions: What, Why, and How. First, I seek to teach what the topic is and what knowledge relates to it. Next, I seek to educate my students about the reasons why they are learning what I am teaching and how it can be applied. Finally, I teach my students how to build upon existing knowledge to grasp the new concept(s). Read less
